How fun to go to a parade! Maya loved running for candy and Audrey was happy to sit with Daddy and watch the parade go by.
Maya turned THREE!
It’s hard to believe how fast time goes. It seems so quick that Maya went from being a baby to being three. Yikes! We had a really fun day celebrating Maya’s birthday today; birthday pancakes for breakfast, a little birthday party with her friends at the park, a dinner of birthday mac and cheese, and a cute birthday cake and presents with just the four of us. What a fun day! Being three seems pretty awesome.
Rockaway Beach Barker Beach Trip
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the beach house on top of the hill at Rockaway Beach this past weekend. It included: a birthday party, tide pools, kite flying, lots of sand, chasing waves, great food, and deck time in the sun. What a great retreat!
Camping near Mt. St. Helens
We ventured out for our first camping trip with two kids and had a great weekend! We met Jason and Alise to camp on Riffe Lake in the Mt. St. Helens wilderness area. Although we couldn’t see the mountain, the lake was a beautiful place to kayak and hike around. We hiked up to Goat Creek Falls one afternoon, played on playgrounds, walked around a small part of the lake, and sat at the campfire. What a great weekend full of fun memories!
